Privacy Policy

Effective since October 30, 2026

produk.co is where Indonesian makers launch their products and others discover, vote, and comment on them. This page explains what data we store, for what purpose, and how you can delete it. We strive to comply with Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection.

Data we collect

• From your Google account when you log in: name, email address, and profile picture. We cannot see your Google password and do not request access to Gmail, Drive, or contacts.
• Information you provide: username, bio, city, social media links, product data (name, description, link, logo, images), votes, and comments.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security, spam prevention, and calculating product statistics (e.g., number of visits).
• Cookies: session cookies to keep you logged in, and security cookies (CSRF). We do not install third-party advertising cookies.

How data is used

• Operating your account: logging in, displaying your profile, products, votes, and comments.
• Reviewing submitted products and protecting the site from spam, online gambling, and fraud.
• Sending notifications related to your account, e.g., product approved or new comments. Certain types of emails can be turned off in settings.

We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with advertisers.

Publicly visible information

Your name, username, profile picture, bio, city, social media links, approved products, and comments can be seen by anyone. Your email is never displayed. The list of products you vote for is not displayed publicly.
