How ratings work
Only people who sign in and write a review can give stars on produk.co. No fake stars, and nobody can pay for them.
How to give stars
- Sign in with your Google account.
- Open a product page and pick 1 to 5 stars above the comment box.
- Write a review of at least 10 words: what's good and what's missing.
- Send it.
You can rate each product once. Changed your mind? Pick new stars and they replace the old ones. If you delete your review, its stars go with it. Founders can't rate their own products.
Why aren't my stars counted yet?
Your stars show on your review right away. To count toward the product's score, your account needs to:
- be more than 24 hours old,
- have commented on 3 other products,
- have voted for 5 other products.
You can see your progress under the comment box. Once it's done, your stars count automatically and you get a notification.
Why? So nobody can make a bunch of fake accounts to push a product's score up or down.
What if someone cheats?
If a product suddenly gets lots of low stars from new accounts, they're put on hold automatically. The reviews stay visible, but the stars don't count for now. Fake 5-star ratings are treated the same way. Several accounts used from the same internet connection only count once.
Our promise
- Ratings can't be bought.
- We don't copy ratings from Play Store or other sites.
- We never delete an honest review just because it's negative.
- Founders can reply to reviews, so you see both sides.
Stars on Google
Once a product has at least 3 counted ratings, its stars can show up in Google search results. Whether they appear is up to Google.
